Our Story

Elliott Engineering began in 1980, but the foundations were laid long before that. Founder Kevin Elliott completed his engineering apprenticeship with New Zealand Railways before gaining hands-on experience with Kodak and Brimax Industries, manufacturing lighting poles and electrical switch gear. That early technical background built the platform for what the business would become.
From humble beginnings in Linden, the workshop later moved to Wall Place in Kenepuru, where Kevin purchased the business outright. Over the years, Elliott Engineering grew from a small workshop to a leading provider of balustrades, handrails, staircases, gates, structural steel and custom metal fabrication.
Today, the team operates from a purpose-built factory in rural Pauatahanui, equipped with computerised tube bending, CNC press brake and guillotine machinery, allowing them to deliver efficiency, precision and high-quality results for every project.
With more than 45 years of industry experience, Elliott Engineering continues to work with residential, commercial and industrial clients across New Zealand. The team is known for problem-solving complex fabrication challenges, meeting strict compliance standards, and providing workmanship that stands the test of time.
